The Mentor Dinner Series 2.0

As the Chef Studio family grows we celebrate the culinary community it has helped to create, and mentorship is key in developing our future cooks. So, we’re thrilled to announce our next Mentor Dinner Series coming this fall.

This series will be a continuation of the theme Robert Reynolds and friends started in the summer, which was a series of three collaborative dinners between Portland’s most notable chef-mentors and their onetime protégés. This time we’re doing a spin-off, with three new chefs each headlining a dinner of their own. These chefs are all current stars on the Portland dining scene, and each of them had the treasured opportunity to learn from and collaborate with Robert at one point in their careers.

Sunday, October 21, 2012
Chef Patrick McKee of Paley’s Place

Sunday, November 4, 2012
Chef David Padberg of soon-to-open Raven & Rose (formerly of Park Kitchen)

Sunday, November 11, 2012
Chef Ben Meyer of Grain and Gristle

Our current and former students will now have the rare opportunity to assist these chefs in the kitchen to prepare a delicious dinner for a small, intimate group of diners at The Studio. We invite you to pull up a seat in our kitchen. Mark your calendar and sign up now to attend our next round of mentor dinners!

Proceeds from the dinners support the Robert Reynolds Chef Studio Scholarship Fund.
